Theme: “Deck the Decades Parade”
December 6th @ 3:00 pm
**THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE WILL BE THE ONLY
PARTICIPANT ALLOWED TO HAVE A SANTA CLAUS**
There will be mandatory informational meetings scheduled the week before the parade. A representative from your organization must be present at one of the meetings. Dates and times (December 3rd & 5th 6:00pm at 105D College St.)
•The parade route will begin by turning right onto 31W from Raymond Hirsh. It will then continue on 31W, turning left on to Hwy 76 and ending by turning right into the park.
• All floats must be in place by 2:00 p.m.
• Judging for the decorating competition will be at 2:15 p.m. with the plaque and banner awarded prior to the parade. The winner can then display the banner on their respective float.
• The parade will begin promptly at 3:00 p.m. Please be prepared at this time.
Decorations
• Displaying a banner or sign in front of your float, that clearly states the group/organization/company name for easy identification, is highly recommended.
• We encourage participants to incorporate the parade’s theme into your decorations.
•The Parks & Recreation Department will be awarding a plaque and banner, to be worn during the parade, to the Top 3 decorated floats. The plaque can be kept, but the banner must be returned to a Parks employee immediately following the parade.
